Candidates research employers before they apply. If your company is invisible, or worse, has a poor reputation, you will struggle to attract good people no matter how much you offer.

Know what you actually offer

Ask current employees why they joined and why they stay. Real answers, such as supportive management, training, fair payment or stable contracts, are your most credible selling points.

Show real people and real work

Photos and short videos of your teams, sites and projects build trust. Stock images do the opposite. A short employee story on your website or LinkedIn page often outperforms a polished brochure.

Make your careers page easy

List open roles, describe the application process and provide a contact. Mobile-friendly pages matter because many candidates apply from their phones.

Respond to every applicant

Even a brief rejection message protects your reputation. Candidates talk, and they remember how they were treated.

Pay on time, every time

Nothing builds or destroys an employer brand faster than payroll reliability. Consistent, on-time payment is the foundation of everything else.
